About Centerprism
You are about to put your core operating system in the hands of a company you have not met. This page is here to answer the questions that actually get asked about that — who we are, who answers when you call, and what happens to your data.
Modernize the operation without giving up what already works
Ask a distributor what they do better than their competition and you get one answer more than any other: service. Quick, complete, accurate supply. Next-day delivery. Knowing the customer. Then ask what worries them, and you hear that the things which made them good at it are getting harder to do — more SKUs, more locations, more vendors, and answers that take longer to reach than they used to.
That is the problem Centerprism is built for. Not a total reset, and not conforming the operation to whatever the software insists on. The processes and the knowledge in your people’s heads are assets, and they should survive the project.
- Built for durable-goods distribution — fasteners, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, industrial and construction supply, tools and equipment
- Small and mid-size, deliberately — typically 5 to 50 users, physical inventory, one to several locations
- Enterprise is the genuine disqualifier — the fit, the price and the service model are built for this end of the market
- Headquartered in St. Louis, MO — serving distributors across the United States
Thirty years inside distribution, then a decision about the software
Michael D. Hollingsworth spent more than 30 years in wholesale distribution, with implementation experience across Oracle, SAP and Epicor — enough of it to have watched capable operations bend themselves around software rather than the other way round. In 2008 Microsoft approached him about the Dynamics GP community, and rather than start from nothing he built the distribution depth on a platform distributors were already running.
The specificity has stayed. In a demo he will tell you this customer bought that screw 183 times in twelve months, or that fasteners are $6 million of your $14 million, because that is the level at which distribution decisions actually get made.

It is a fair question to ask a company our size about the system that runs your business, and it deserves a real answer rather than a reassuring one.
A person answers
Support is U.S.-based and a person picks up the phone. Email is a fine channel and we use it, but a ticket queue is not the whole offer. Ask us exactly what support covers and we will tell you.
Your data, where you put it
Centerprism runs on your own server, in a managed data center, or in Azure or AWS — your choice. Ask us for the data-ownership terms in writing before you sign, and read them.
What we can’t claim yet
A published continuity and succession document is something we are still putting together. Until it exists we will tell you what the team looks like and what can be confirmed — not more than that.
